Dr. Sreekar Harinatha

Dr. Sreekar Harinatha is a Gold Medalist M.Ch. (Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery) from Christian Medical College, Vellore — one of India's most prestigious surgical training institutions. With over 17 years of dedicated practice in plastic, cosmetic, and hair transplant surgery, he is currently a Consultant at Contura Clinic in Kalyan Nagar, Bengaluru.

His training at CMC Vellore gave him wide exposure to the full spectrum of plastic surgery: cosmetic procedures, cleft surgeries, burns management, hand and face injuries, cancer reconstruction, reimplantations, microsurgery, and free tissue transfer. He has since focused his practice on cosmetic and aesthetic surgery, becoming one of Bengaluru's most recognised specialists in gynecomastia correction, hair transplantation, and rhinoplasty.

Dr. Sreekar is an active researcher with over 44 indexed publications in international journals including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Annals of Plastic Surgery, and Burns. He has authored three books, including the widely read The Male Breast — What You Should Know About Gynecomastia (Notionpress, 2020). He has presented at international conferences including IMCAS Taipei, where he was awarded the Best Paper prize in 2016.

He also regularly travels to Uganda and Tanzania for surgical camps, bringing reconstructive and cosmetic surgical care to underserved populations in East Africa.
